Ladies and gentlemen, after much anticipation and months of waiting, the Lamborghini Revuelto SV has finally been unveiled at Monterey Car Week. The Revuelto SV is the latest model to carry the SV (Super Veloce) name used on Lamborghini’s high-performance V12 models, going back all the way to the Miura SV in 1971.
Since the base 1000 hp Revuelto is already so powerful, I wondered how much the horsepower would increase for the SV and the answer is 50 more than the base model for a total of 1050 hp, making it Lamborghini’s most powerful road car. The car also accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.4 seconds and can reach speeds above 345 kmph, these are some insane statistics. Keep in mind the SV shares the same naturally aspirated V12 engine and three electric motors from the base model and the only difference here, is the system has been tuned and enhanced to increase the horsepower and top speed.
Because the Revuelto SV is a track focused car both the exterior and interior are designed to be as light as possible to make the car quicker. Exterior changes on the Revuelto SV include a rear spoiler, aerodynamic changes, new center lock alloy wheels, more extensive use of carbon fiber and of course, the distinct SV letters on the side.
It also comes with a new “Pilota” driving mode with a five-stage traction control system taken from Lamborghini’s GT3 racing experience, this mode adjusts specifically to track conditions and tire wear and allows the driver to get even more of an authentic motorsport feel. Pilota can be activated by using a red rotary knob on the steering wheel.
When it comes to exterior customization one has the option to have a single solid body color, or a two tone black livery with body color, with optional colored lines as well. I’m not sure how to feel about the livery to be honest, I think it works nicely with a shade like the launch Rosso Efesto spec for example but on shades that are brighter or darker I feel like the full livery package would take away attention from the main body color.
There are new racing bucket seats with optional carbon fiber for the interior, with the interior upholstery using mostly alcantara. Lamborghini provides both leather and alcantara options for the seats, as well as 12 contrast and stitching color options to go with the interior and it makes for some interesting combinations.
Like most of Lamborghini’s previous special editions and exotic supercars, the Revuelto SV is limited as well with a planned production of 1963 units, the number being a reference to the year that Lamborghini was founded.
The official pricing for the Revuelto SV hasn’t been announced yet and it hasn’t been mentioned when customer deliveries are expected, but you can most likely expect deliveries to begin around early 2027.
