One of the cool things about supercar configurators is that is allows normal enthusiasts to spec their own dream supercar. Some prefer to stick to traditional specs, while others go completely unique. I would consider myself somewhere in between and most of the time what spec I create depends on how I am feeling.
I’ve decided to go with a special car for my first dedicated spec blog post, the Ferrari 812 Competizione Aperta or A for short. Only 599 of these will be produced meaning that I would have access to this configurator for only for a limited amount of time I would be able to configure this car.
So onto the spec. For the color I have decided to go with Ferrari’s darker red Rosso Mugello shade with no additional stripe for the exterior. Then moving onto the wheels I’ve gone with the Matt grigio corsa diamond rims with black brake calipers. I’ve also added the Color Edition Giallo option for the tires which makes them look like F1 tires.
And finally I have loaded the car with every possible selected carbon option because why not.
As for the interior, I’ve gone with alcantara Rosso for the main color to give even more of a race car like experience, combined with a Ciocolatto color stripe. I haven’t changed anything else because I like the rest of the interiors being black.
It won’t be long before the 812 Competizione’s production ends and a successor arrives and when it does arrive, I will hopefully be able to spec that as well but until then let us enjoy this 812 Competizione Aperta spec. Also keep an eye out for more cool supercar specs from other manufacturers.
