The Bentley Continental GT Le Mans Edition is a car that holds a special place in my heart, it is one of the rarest cars I’ve ever spotted and that was in Dubai back in 2023. Bentley only produced 48 units of the Continental GT Le Mans Edition, making it one of the rarest special edition Bentleys out there.
Because the Continental GT Le Mans Edition is so rare, I haven’t come across an example for sale until now. This preowned example is listed for sale by Bentley Knokke with just 43 miles on the odometer for approximately $550k which as you can imagine is considerably more expensive than the typical Continental GT Speed.
This car was apparently registered in July 2024 so this appears to be one of the later cars delivered, since the GT Le Mans was revealed over a year before in June of 2023 and deliveries would have started not long after.
The Continental GT Le Mans celebrated the 20th anniversary of Bentley’s 24 Hours Of Le Mans victory in 2003, with every car being finished in the Verdant green shade with a Moonbeam racing stripe on the front, a white 7 painted on the grill (7 being the same number as the Le Mans winning car), black 22-inch wheels, red brake calipers as well as other exterior badging.
The interior also comes with changes as well, the most notable ones being the six badges on the passenger dashboard that pay tribute to Bentley’s six wins at Le Mans as well as the piece of an actual valve taken from the 2003 Le Mans winning car which is displayed at the center of the dashboard. Just like the exterior. all of this work was specially done by Bentley’s Mulliner division.
One more thing that makes this special edition even more significant, is that it is one of the last Bentley models to have Bentley’s W12 engine, which would be discontinued in 2024.
It’s a very rare sight to come across a low mileage special edition Bentley on sale like this Continental GT Le Mans here and with performance, racing heritage and exclusivity, this car is a true collector’s item.
