The McLaren 675LT is the OG modern LT McLaren and a rare car with only 500 units of both the coupe and spider version produced. With the 675LT being a rare model that’s over 10 years old it’s slowly getting harder to come by these. This 2016 coupe example listed by Lamborghini Houston is one of only few such cars I could find currently on sale for either variant so yeah, hard to come by.
This example comes in Silica White paint and has several carbon fiber options including the roof, two orange stripes and matching orange brake calipers making it feel like a proper McLaren theme. It is also a well driven example with over 17000 miles on the odometer which isn’t really a surprise considering the 675LT is proper driver’s car meant for enthusiasts with its impressive raw power and handling. The price range for a 675LT depends a lot on the usage with this example being listed for just under $210k, a low mileage example would probably be closer to $300k
Though there are plenty more powerful models around, the 675LT still very much has a fanbase of its own among enthusiasts thanks to its driving abilities. Another appeal is the 675LT’s style is very similar to that of the McLaren P1 hypercar, especially when it comes to the front. The 675LT would go on to inspire future McLaren models such as its successor in the 765LT which would come out in 2020.
The McLaren 675LT is a car I feel is worth keeping an eye on as with fewer of these cars getting listed on sale as time goes on it’s only going to get harder to come across and obtaining one is going to be a difficult task. Those who are fortunate to get one will be able to enjoy the raw driving experience of a car that is also significant in McLaren’s legacy.
