It looks like the stunning MSO Pacific Colorstream McLaren Elva has been sold once again. After failing to meet reserve at the Mecum Indy Auction last year, this Elva seems to have finally left the Dave Frecka collection as it was very recently seen delivered to Naples Motorsports in Florida and seen in a couple of pics at an event next to another Elva, a prototype model known as the Elva XP2 which is finished in MSO Tupelo Gold with white stripes.

McLaren Elva chassis #122 started its journey in McLaren of Charlotte where it was first put up for sale with only 89 miles, after which it joined the Dave Frecka collection which consisted of several other McLaren hypercars. During its time there it was featured on their YouTube channel “Triple F Collection” and was driven quite a bit, as when it was first put up for auction at Mecum Indy it showed 400 miles on the odometer.

The car showed 462 miles on its most recent listing on Naples Motorsports and it looks like it has been sold just a few days after it arrived there, an Instagram post by them showing the Elva being loaded on a truck to its next destination.

It is no secret that Elva #122 in MSO Pacific Colorstream is probably one of my favorite individual hypercar specs of all time. The way the beautiful multicolor paint blends with the overall shape of the car, the general lack of carbon fiber on the Elva’s body and the choice of black wheel rims instead of chrome allowing for the paint to fully stand out. It’s also one of the few McLarens in existence in the MSO Pacific Colorstream shade.

Although at this moment it’s not known currently where Elva #122 is going to end up next, one thing for sure, the new owner will get a rare chance to experience one of the most unique hypercars and McLarens in existence.
