The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta Is An Underrated Ferrari

I was looking through the different Ferraris and noticed a name of a model which I had forgotten about but the moment I saw the name, the F12 Berlinetta, I remembered it because I had known this car back in my childhood. As soon as I remembered this Ferrari I decided I wanted to make a post about it.

The F12 Berlinetta was launched in 2012 and produced until 2015. Powered by a V12 engine that gives the car 730 horsepower, the cars top speed reached a total of 340 kmph which made it a good all around model at the time. I also like the overall design of the car actually, simple but good looking. The F12 may not stand out like other Ferraris but I think it still looks pretty good the way it is. Even though the F12 was a successful enough product I feel like it didn’t get as much attention as other Ferraris that were produced during the same time like the 458 Italia, California and LaFerrari were all either more popular or well known at the time.

There’s also a track variant of the F12 which I had absolutely no idea about until making this post. It’s called the F12 TDF. The F12 TDF has increased speed and performance over the normal F12. The F12 TDF is also limited edition car with only 799 units in total produced.

Ferrari replaced the F12 Berlinetta with the 812 Superfast. Interestingly the 812 Superfast is a lot more well known compared to the F12, probably because the 812 is a lot more powerful and it stands out as a more attractive and modern car for many.

I think the F12 Berlinetta is a bit of a forgotten Ferrari model that deserves more recognition than what it has currently. Even though the looks may have not stood out compared some of Ferrari’s other models it was quite powerful for its time and had good all around performance.

And one of the most important things for me personally, the F12 was one of the Ferrari’s of my childhood so it’s a special car for me and I hope that more people can remember it.
